I actually have an older Dell Inspiron E521, but I've been graceful cheerful with mine. I've added extra RAM without any difficuly and have not had any hardware failures. The only design backs I've experienced is that the antivirus that comes with it is very in effective (in my belief), so I download the free AVG and it's been dazzling. Technical serve is outsourced, but they peaceful do a handsome proper job. It's only free for the first year though, then I mediate it's about $40.00 a pop. John Crippen,

Inspiron 530 runs handsome sometimes, other times it unprejudiced reboots in the middle of working. Memory configuration not showing up fair in Windows but memory test are all okay. Dell has refused to honor their warranty and will not send a replacement. I've spent over 20+ hours re-installing Windows and all my applications, music, photos, etc - per their tech support's quiz - and smooth it crashes. Then they told me that should consume the memory cards each and every time the system reboots - in order to release the static.
Mine was a complete fraction of junk. I bought it in April 2008 from Dell specifically because they were detached offering Windows XP. However, the system's motherboard failed after 6 months. Dell sent a replacement computer, but the modern system was Vista OS. I'm level-headed trying to obtain it sorted out. I'll never order from Dell again.
