This gun claims to have improper recoil-totally fraudulent! My husband bought this gun for me because of the improper weight and recoil advertisement, and well after using it for 2 days I could not bend my wrist or grab anything. This gun needs so great force to consume the trigger and the recoil is so severe it is unusable. My husband also primitive it for a day and agreed, and after being in construction for 8 yrs he could not stand it. He has broken-down Porter Cable and Paslode and would never recommend a Dewalt to anyone. In fact he bought me a Paslode today to replace the Dewalt. Sinister gun and be prepared to miss work days due to wrist afflict!
This is a solid framing gun. It is fairly light and easy to spend. There are newer models with more features (various companies), but there may be great effect contrast. So you need to choose what you need out a gun. It does have a kick when shooting 3-1/2" exterior nails, but what would you query from a light gun setting a long nail??? This is not a enact gun. With any gun, you have to catch a cheerful medium between air pressure and depth setting. I exhaust 90 psi with the depth setting third from deepest setting and derive a consistent 1/8" counter sink on straight shots in treated trudge. Don't forget to consume lubricating oil. There are better deals available for this model, shop around.
I faded other guns before and have a heavenly amount of experience building.
I unbiased purchased this gun and aged it to originate a deck 12 ft in the air. Other than dragging the air hose around, it worked sizable.
All my nails were comfortably counter sunk, ( 3 1/2 nails ) . To me the gun is light weight. I contemplate my 14v drill is heavier. I got a enormous deal at Lowe's for $200.
Good deal to me.
